• Profine Opens New UK & International Design Centre – And It’s FIT

Profine UK has opened a new design centre at its Huthwaite facility for the profile and system PVC-U brands of Kömmerling, Greenline (formerly Legend) and Warmcore.

The official opening came at a recent international group board meeting which allowed Dr. Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of profine Group, to be guest of honour. The new design centre will be recognised by many as it is predominantly the impressive exhibition stand that stood out so well at the 2022 FIT Show.

The recycling of the exhibition stand is part of a wider sustainability programme for profine and Kömmerling, to re-use and recycle wherever possible beyond the materials involved in manufacturing processes.

Passivhaus studio

The design centre provides an environment to showcase the entire profine UK product portfolio.

An addition is a new Passivhaus studio which can be utilised by Kömmerling and profine manufacturing partners and installation companies from both the UK and overseas.

Robert Thiroff, managing director of profine UK and executive director international markets said at the opening event: “This was an opening on an international platform with key staff also taking part in the celebrations. It was great to be able to share this with a global audience, yet moving forward this is very much a super-premium space for all customers of this great business.

“It also marks the introduction of the re-branded literature which will be launched across the majority of product ranges in the coming weeks.”
