Read Full Article2023 has seen a significant uptick in the package of support that AluK is offering to installers, as the aluminium systems company looks to strengthen its partnerships with companies working in both the retail and commercial markets.
The first and most obvious element is a new dedicated online portal which allows installers to access and download everything from product datasheets to sales brochures direct from the AluK website.
The links to websites or places to register are listed at the end of this article.
Installers just have to register their details to confirm which fabricator they are buying from and then they can set up their own password protected account.
The downloadable options are tailored specifically to the needs of installers so there are datasheets, wallcharts, product cards and brochures available, rather than the technical files and CAD details which are within the separate AluK fabricator and specifier portals.
24/7
Antoniya Stoycheva, AluK’s Digital Marketing and Communications Manager explains the benefits: “This is a quick and easy 24/7 way for Installers to get the info they need on any of our products – and it also includes access to our Part L portal which includes our valuable ‘Installers’ Guide to Part L’. It’s not intended to replace what they get from our fabricators but is hopefully a useful addition to that.”
Virtual showroom tour
Continuing the digital theme, AluK has also launched a virtual tour of its impressive Chepstow showroom – giving installers the opportunity to see the complete AluK product range online and even screen the tour in their showrooms or include it as part of remote of in-home sales presentations.
Virtual visitors navigate around the showroom by following the on-screen arrows and then click wherever they see an information symbol to access full details of individual products and an operational demo from one of the AluK team. The tour is available via both the AluK trade and dedicated AluK home retail websites.
Stoycheva says: “We get great feedback from anyone who visits our showrooms in Chepstow and at our design studio in London, so we’ve replicated the visitor experience as closely as possible and even included extra options such as downloadable datasheets on all the products featured.
The virtual tour includes AluK products such as the BSF70 bi-fold, the F82 bi-fold and the Infinium slider. There are also close ups of all the options in the popular 58BW window and 58BD door systems, as well as the 77IW and C70S window systems.
In real life
For installers who do want to see the products in real life though, the AluK design studio on Worship Street, in the heart of London’s architectural community, has just reopened with a new host.
Help me Rhonda
Rhonda Sargeant is now managing the space looking after customers and guests and helping to coordinate the programme of events.
Installers can arrange a visit for themselves or direct any specifiers and homeowners they are working with to have a look around and see full size versions of AluK products and all the colour hardware and accessory details.
