SensCheck Namecheck - Sierra Announced As Smart Launch Partner

Yale has announced Sierra Windows as the first official launch partner for SensCheckMaco, the company’s new range of integrated smart window and door lock sensors.

The partnership will see Sierra Windows – part of the Epwin Group – supply all its PVC casement window, flush window, and door products with SensCheckMaco compatibility as standard. This will enable homeowners to check the status of their doors and windows using their smartphones and devices while providing a smart advantage for installers.

“Yale’s have protected homes, families, and belongings for over 180 years. They were naturals for innovating connected smart locks and homes. Yale is an instantly recognisable brand and the perfect partner for us”

– Steve Jones

Managing director, Sierra Windows

Competitive advantage

“SensCheckMaco genuinely enhances our offering to installers, providing them with a competitive advantage as more and more homeowners invest in smart home security,” adds Jones. “The partnership also means we will benefit from Yale’s marketing support and technical expertise.”

With Yale SensCheckMaco, homeowners are notified via the Yale Smart Living Home App if their doors are open or closed, locked or unlocked and whether their windows are in the night vent position. The range is also compatible with voice partners Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, enabling homeowners to ask a variety of commands, such as ‘Alexa, is my front door locked?’ and ‘Alexa, is my bedroom window open?’

Yale SensCheckMaco allows installers to offer smart windows and doors within their product range, benefiting from the association with a leading consumer brand.

The fact that the consumer purchases directly from Yale means there is no risk for the installer – who is fully supported by Yale’s aftersales support team.
