After months of anticipation, Business Micros’ new TOUCH Vendor remote sales and ordering software for installers is now live and available to purchase.

When installers enter the store, they can watch a ‘live’ demo of TOUCH Vendor, check out the pricing options and see how to add it to their website and get started. They can also download a complete guide to the software and use the live chat function to get instant online help and support setting up their account.

 

Paul Callaghan from group company The Consultancy, which was behind the front-end design of TOUCH, says it’s the solution that installers have been waiting for from the biggest name in fenestration software. It uses industry standard data and crucially, doesn’t tie the installer to any single supplier.

 

Free trial

Installers can get started with TOUCH Vendor straightaway – they just need to set up their TOUCH account, choose how many users they want to add and enter their payment details to access a free trial.

Lead generation

TOUCH Vendor is a stylish, easy to use lead generation, quoting and ordering tool which installers can easily add to their existing websites. It has been designed to be flexible to suit the way that installation businesses need to work now and in the future.

In lead generation mode, it’s a user-friendly design tool which web visitors can use to create their choice of doors and windows online and submit an enquiry via the website. This can then be instantly converted into a quote and priced up automatically with no re-processing.

In virtual sales mode, it lets installers use a more advanced design tool to create full specifications for windows and doors themselves on a screen shared with the customer. In field sales and survey mode, it adds in measurements so that the homeowner gets a quote in real time during a socially distanced sales visit.

 

Personalisation

Users of TOUCH Vendor simply select the list of products they sell from a menu within the system and add their own colours and logo to personalise their version. They can quote on multiple products on one customer enquiry and add in their own live pricing options which they can turn on or off depending on which mode they are using.

As well as transforming the sales experience, TOUCH Vendor also allows installers to manage enquiries and generate and track quotes more easily via their own Vendor account. This is where the enquiries land from homeowners and where installers simply edit the enquiry and make any necessary additions, before adding their price and automatically generating a quote via email.
