Award-winning garden designer Hana Leonard featured EnviroBuild's Hyperion decking and cladding in her design at the 2023 edition of the Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival.

The event took place from 4-9 June.

Leonard is the founder and owner of Secrets of the Garden Ltd, a garden design studio. A lover of plants and green spaces, Leonard makes gardens flow without losing their usability. One way in which she keeps this in mind is with the use of recyclable and upcycled materials in her designs. She said: “I chose EnviroBuild because of their environmental credentials, high recycled content in their product and their commitment to sustainability. The fact that their decking and cladding comes in a variety of nice colours and finishes was just an added bonus that allowed me to create a more eye-catching design."

Leonard made use of all available colours of decking and cladding (silver birch, granite, walnut, stone and oak).

Wood look great in the garden

The Hyperion Explorer composite decking was chosen by Leonard for its realistic wood look and wood-grain texture. The decking utilises the latest technologies and material innovations to go beyond being pleasing to the eye. Manufactured almost entirely from recycled materials (~90%), Hyperion Explorer is claimed to have a 64% reduced global warming potential in comparison to traditional timber decking. Pioneer

The Hyperion Pioneer composite cladding boasts similar aesthetic and sustainable attributes as the decking. It is also made of more than 90% recycled materials and is said to produce a 69% lower carbon footprint compared to traditional timber cladding systems.
