Read Full ArticlePlanning permission has been achieved for Darling Associates’ latest residential scheme in Salford which will achieve 500 build-to-rent homes.
Working with Eutopia Homes, Darling Associates have designed the development at 319 & 321 Ordsall Lane at the waterside location between south west Manchester and Salford Quays. It will consist studios, 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed apartments.
Taller elements of the scheme front the river and are strategically positioned to south of the site to take advantage of the surrounding views.
The estimated investment associated with the project is £56.9 million. Some 628 new construction jobs will be created.
Exeter
In March, Darling also achieved planning permission for residences in a major Exeter residential scheme at Exmouth Junction, which proposes the construction of 400 new residential dwellings and a 65-unit senior living with care facility.
Exmouth Junction is a former Network Rail site on Prince Charles Road in Exeter. The project will transform 15 acres of redundant storage land.
