1920s inspiration

James Barrett from SWF says:: “In the 1920s, interior design was all about quintessential straight lines, French influence and refined simplicity that created the iconic Art Deco movement. This translated into window and door hardware that not only complemented the space but was comfortable to grip and manoeuvre.  We have taken inspiration from those designs and updated them, giving a bold and classic look along with updated capacity for modern locking abilities.”

Modern locking

Four independent springs ensure the correct position of the lever and an 8mm spindle secured with a grub screw clamps both handles together securely. In addition, a B851 Euro Cylinder or B852 key escutcheons are available enabling a wide range of applications to include multipoint, traditional external locks and internal latches.

Steel Window Fittings is a member of the Steel Window Association, the trade organisation which represents the great majority of UK steel window and door manufacturers, ranging in size from the smallest craft-based businesses through to large, multi-site companies.
