Pop Goes True Joy

AkzoNobel has named True Joy as the Interpon Colour of the Year for 2025. It is described as a ‘distinctive ‘pop’ of warm gold that is both subtle yet brave, gentle yet empowering, taking you on a journey of liberation’.

AkzoNobel is a specialist in paints and powder coating and supplies many of the colour systems that feature on curtain walling and aluminium windows in particular. The company’s True Joy gold is joined by a palette of sympathetic, earthy tones contrasting with more powerful shades of red, green and blue. They are said to have been produced to inspire new creative thought to transform exteriors, interiors, lighting, furniture, and furnishings across a wide range of sectors. The palette comprises a choice of 10 colours. It is available in a range of metallic, smooth and fine texture effects.

 

Take a flying leap

Bob Dirks, the global segment manager architectural akzonobel powder coatings, says: “True Joy is perfect for bringing a feeling of freedom and empowerment to buildings and their features. It enables architects and designers to be spontaneous in their creations and take a leap of faith.”

True Joy comes as part of the Interpon D2525 family of ‘super-durable’ powder coatings with a warranty of up to 25 years when applied by an Interpon D Approved Applicator.
