Momentum For Housebuilder’s Apprentice

Housebuilder, Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, has handed cash to a local student who has completed his apprenticeship at Momentum in South Yorkshire.

Cameron Dalton-Heppenstall from Sheffield was awarded a certificate and a £100 voucher to mark his successful completion of the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery by Andy Dawson, construction director, Yorkshire West.

Dalton-Heppenstall joined Barratt Developments Yorkshire West’s apprenticeship programme in July 2019 through the Homebuilders Partnership with Stephenson College. He has gained hands-on experience at its Momentum development in Waverley. He will now continue his career with the business as a sub-contractor.

Dave Beck, a senior site manager at Barratt says: “We’re incredibly proud of Cameron, who showed huge amount of talent and commitment during his apprenticeship programme.

“As the UK’s largest homebuilder, we’re always on the lookout for the next generation of talented professionals and future leaders who can keep us at the forefront of the construction industry. For this reason, we are pleased to be able to offer our apprenticeship programme with Stephenson College in Coalville, Leicester and York College in Bishopthorpe, York.”
