Modplan has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its new composite door range. Liam Isaac, head of sales and marketing at Modplan, says: “As a business, we’ve built our reputation on supplying products that our customers can install with complete confidence. When we decided to add composite doors to our portfolio, it was important that the product reflected the same levels of quality, performance and reliability that customers have come to expect from Modplan.”
The new range is manufactured from DoorCo’s composite door slabs, selected for their quality, design options and market reputation. Combined with VEKA outerframes, high-security cylinders and premium hardware throughout, the result is a composite door range designed to deliver outstanding aesthetics, security and long-term performance.
Isaac says: “We carefully assessed the market before making our decision. DoorCo has an excellent reputation for quality and innovation, making it the ideal partner for our composite door range. By combining DoorCo slabs with premium specification components and our own manufacturing expertise, we’re offering a product we’re proud to put the Modplan name behind.”
Isaac says that security was a key consideration throughout the specification process. As standard, the doors feature the Winkhaus autoLock AV4 automatic multi-point locking system, which secures the door automatically when closed. The lock meets the requirements of PAS 24 and is approved by the Secured by Design initiative, delivering peace of mind for both installers and homeowners.
Isaac says: “Homeowners expect more from their entrance doors than ever before. They want a product that looks exceptional, performs flawlessly and offers complete security. The Winkhaus AV4 system plays an important role in helping us deliver that combination of convenience, security and performance.”
The range includes a collection of traditional and contemporary door styles, supported by a choice of colours, glazing options and hardware finishes. This gives installers the flexibility to offer homeowners a solution that suits virtually any property style while maintaining the standards that define the Modplan brand.
