Composite door range achieves SBD
Trade fabricator Modplan has achieved Secured by Design accreditation on its recently launched composite door range. Liam Isaac, head of sales and marketing at Modplan, says: “Security has been a fundamental consideration from the very beginning of this project. We wanted to offer a composite door range that delivers outstanding aesthetics and long-term performance while providing homeowners with complete confidence in the security of their property.
“Achieving Secured by Design accreditation provides independent verification that our doors meet rigorous police-backed security standards and gives our customers another compelling selling point when discussing our products with homeowners.”
Launched in June this year, the new composite door range combines DoorCo composite door slabs with VEKA outer frames, the Winkhaus autoLock AV4 automatic multi-point locking system and premium hardware as standard. Together, the specification delivers exceptional thermal performance, durability and security, while offering homeowners an extensive choice of traditional and contemporary door styles, colours and glazing options.
The accreditation is the latest addition to Modplan’s long-established portfolio of Secured by Design approved products.
