Happy Mondays

Ution delivers weekend orders on Monday graphic

Ultion locks orders placed over a weekend will now be delivered to customers on Monday. All telephone and on-line orders placed up until 1:00pm on a Sunday will be with locksmiths and installers ready for the working week.

The service also includes bespoke orders for keyed alike requirements.

Until now, installers could wait days for a bespoke requirement, ordering on a Friday afternoon and not receiving product until Tuesday for example.

“One of the things we learned from 2020 was that even though businesses may be closed, burglars still burgle so locksmiths and other installers still need locks and they need them quickly.”

– Nick Dutton

CEO, Brisant Secure

Extreme service

"If homeowners don’t have it, security becomes extremely important to them," continues Brisant Secure's Dutton. "That’s why we’ve created an extreme service to deliver extreme Ultion security. With many of our customers featuring the term 24/7 in their business title, current service standards can make this impossible to achieve. We’re changing that.”

Growth

Brisant Secure has grown by providing homeowners with the security they’ve always wanted. The Ultion family of locks was expanded at the end of 2020 to provide an Ultion secure solution for all situations. With a focus on extreme security. Brisant is launching two new locks the Ultion 1* cylinder and a new Ultion 3* product which will be available early in 2021.

Bigger Brisant

Brisant Secure, the hardware house behind Ultion locks has moved to a new unit which enables it to expand capacity by two-thirds above 2020 operations.

The move will secure Brisant’s long-term growth and make room for what the company says are more exciting new products that will change the market.

Brisant saw strong growth in 2020, which more than compensated for two missing months due to lockdown. Homeowner traffic to the Ultion website grew 30% in 2020 – the equivalent of 50,000 visitors each month and rising. The company finished the year ahead of 2019, despite extremely difficult trading conditions.

CEO Nick Dutton attributes Brisant’s success to installers selling the benefits of ultra-secure, long-lasting attractive hardware: “Break-ins are a sad reality of life and security is top of most homeowners’ wish lists, but they also want great-looking products that enhance their homes. One of Ultion’s unique selling points for installers is that Ultion doesn’t just add security to their doors - Ultion actually sells doors.

"Our installer customers are doing very well by giving homeowners the extreme security and long-lasting beautiful hardware they’ve always wanted with Ultion and Sweet. They’re doing a fantastic job of raising awareness of the brands.”

Brisant recently appeared in the annual Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 for the second consecutive year, a list of the UK’s 100 fastest-growing companies. Brisant Secure has grown by providing homeowners with the extreme security they’ve always wanted.
