Basildon Bond Honoured As Capacity Booms

A factory making doors

A Basildon trade supplier of doors & windows has honoured its bond to ensure a 6-day turnaround by investing in a 36,000sq.ft factory to triple production capacity.

Until the new Essex factory officially opens in March, the company is manufacturing products 24 hours a day to keep up with demand.

Chigwell Window Centre, includes the brand 6 Day Doors, the specialist supplier of aluminium bi-folds and patios, which will also be operating from the same location.  the firms also plan to buy in new machinery and new vehicles and to hire more staff.

Chigwell Window Centre supplies aluminium, PVC-U, casement, flush sash and sliding sash windows and bi-fold, composite, patio and French doors, as well as conservatories and extensions.

A range of trade double glazing products at competitive prices are also available from Aluplast, Quickslide and Smart Architectural Aluminium.

Year two

6 Day Doors was only founded at the start of 2020 but the company has already expanded its original portfolio to include Ezifold bi-fold doors. Ezifold comes with a wide range of configurations and slim sightlines for high-end aluminium aesthetics. It comes with a 25-year colour guarantee.

Also new is the Cortizo Cor Vision Plus slimline patio door. With sashes up to 4m in width or height, this minimalist sliding system is especially suitable for large dimensions, covering openings with a glass surface of 94% and a visible section of just 25mm.

“6 Day Doors is already doing well considering the current economic climate. With a new factory on the cards, we’re certain that both 6 Day Doors and Chigwell Window Centre will be able to continue to deliver high quality products that our customers expect.”
