Will S2 Suit You?

The supplier of conservatory roof replacements SupaLite has recently unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio of products – the S2 conservatory roof.

The introduction of the S2 marks a significant milestone for the company which is known for supplying tiled and hybrid roof systems. It also demonstrates the company’s commitment to offering more options to ambitious installers in the replacement roof market.

K2 upgrade

The inspiration behind the development of the S2 came from the previously popular K2 glazing extension roofing system. Although the K2 system initially received acclaim for its castings, extrusions and weather-resistant powder coating, its positive impact was short-lived and left installers without a premium glass conservatory roof option. Recognising this gap in the market, SupaLite partnered with aluminium extruders, Garnalex, to introduce something new.

The S2 boasts several notable features, including a range of multi-chambered PVC-U or aluminium top caps exclusive to Garnalex roofs. It also incorporates squared cappings and trims giving a modern contemporary look and versatility previously unavailable with the K2.

S2

The S2's 'box' eaves beam enables homeowners to include panoramic doors that open to the surrounding landscape, accommodating conservatory pitches ranging from as low as 2.5 to a steep 37.5 degrees. This flexibility allows the S2 to be tailored to suit the unique design preferences of homeowners.

Wes Clarkson, sales director at SupaLite, says: “The S2 has exceeded our expectations here at SupaLite. Thanks to Garnalex, what started as a remodel of the K2 conservatory roofing system quickly developed into the creation of a new and improved conservatory roof.

“We’re so excited to be adding this product to our ever-expanding portfolio of products and we can’t wait to see the reaction from installers across the UK.”
