We Don’t Want Any Trouble

Andy Meakin at Kenrick says: “We’re committed to delivering top quality hardware that delivers years of trouble-free service. This helps fabricators and installers deliver the products that delight end users."

“And it minimises callbacks that are so damaging to the bottom line,” adds the company’s the sales & marketing manager.

As evidence of its robust approach to quality, Kenrick holds ISO 9001, the globally recognised standard for quality management. The standard recognises that a business has put in place effective processes and trained staff to deliver flawless products or services consistently.

Kenrick also holds BS EN 1303, the European standard on cylinders for locks. And it is a member of Secured by Design, which indicates it produces security products that have proven effectiveness in preventing or reducing crime.

Quality control

To maintain effective quality control, Kenrick not only employs a first-class quality team at its West Bromwich factory but also has a dedicated quality control officer at its manufacturing plant in China. This ensures quality control checks are undertaken on all Kenrick products.

Meakin says: “Quality isn’t just a tick-box exercise for us. We have proven processes and exacting standards in place to make sure we deliver the high-quality we have built our name on.”
