Veka Recycling has reached the finals of two major award programmes - the National Recycling Awards and the G-Awards.

For this year’s G-Awards., the company has been selected in the best sustainability initiative category.

The finals take place in November. The nomination is in recognition of the completion of the firm’s Northamptonshire recycling facility.

New windows

Used extensively for the manufacture of products for the electrical and construction industries, the pellet produced is increasingly used for the extrusion of new window and door profiles.

 

National Recycling Awards

As previously reported by TheInstaller.pro and TheFabricator.pro, Veka Recycling has also reached the finals of the MRW National Recycling Awards which are recognised as the most prestigious in the recycling and resource management sector The company achieved recognition at its first attempt.

The firm has been shortlisted in the recycling facility of the year category, for its new, state-of-the-art recycling facility in Wellingborough.

The award will be given to a ‘waste and/or recycling facility that demonstrates best practice through innovation and/or improved management’, says the organiser. The winner will be decided at a ceremony held on 10th December at The Hilton, Park Lane.
