The Colour Field

The proliferation of profile choices and colours has certainly characterised fenestration product development in recent years. To complement this choice, there are now nine colours and finishes of Yale’s suite of door and window furniture.

All door and window furniture - hinges, knockers, numerals and letterplates - from Yale will now be available in anthracite grey, dark chrome, satin chrome and brushed stainless steel finishes as well as the usual shades.

“While some homeowners will still opt for standard white doors and windows, demand for a range of finishes and colours is growing.”

– Paul Atkinson

Managing director, Yale DWS

Expanding the range

“Consumers want choice, so fabricators and retailers must provide it. We recognise the importance of colour choice and that’s why we’ve expanded the range to include new colours and finishes,” adds Yale DWS’ Atkinson. “Expanding our furniture to nine colour options – all of which can be suited – offers incredible opportunities for fabricators and installers, as it makes it much easier to create a bespoke, modern or heritage look,” continues Yale’s Atkinson. “The colour trend is certainly one I see continuing for a long time to come, as once offered in the market it’s difficult to withdraw without losing competitive advantage.”

Suits all materials

Yale’s furniture range is suitable for PVC-U, composite, aluminium and timber applications. It includes the well-established Quartus window handles, door knockers and also the newly launched Vertex range of vertical sliding hardware.

Vertex

The Vertex range has been created specifically for sash windows incorporating classical ironmongery. It is designed, developed and tested in the UK. While the Vertex sash lock is PAS24 compliant as standard, the whole range has been beta tested with a number of fabricators to assure homeowners of the enhanced quality.

Trojan

The company’s offering was strengthened with the integration of Trojan in 2016. This enabled Yale to offer a large suite of products that provide fabricators and installers with a comprehensive choice of fenestration hardware at various levels of specification, in various base materials – all backed by technical support and product guarantees. Included in this is the Yale Lifetime Security Guarantee which offers up to £3,250 towards repairs or replacements, insurance excess and securing the property in the event of a break-in, as well as discounts for the homeowner at www.yalehome.co.uk
