For three decades, Building for Tomorrow was the National House Building Council’s annual technical event. Now, based on delegate feedback, it has been reimagined as BEYOND ’25 LIVE – a full-scale, national conference to be held at Coventry Building Society (CBS) Arena on Thursday 20 March 2025.
BEYOND ’25 LIVE has been devised to help those in the housebuilding industry understand more about standards and legislation, offer ideas on how to bridge the skills gap and reach net zero. The event will also incorporate a variety of workshops and training sessions, providing CPD opportunities and the chance to network with colleagues from across the sector.
Speakers
Special guest speakers include Ian Workman, the chief customer officer from Homes England, Lindsey Young CEO of Clarkson Evans and Nigel Cates, chief ombudsman at the New Homes Ombudsman.
Other speakers will include Nigel Banks, the technical director at Octopus Energy, Rhodri Williams, a technical & sustainability director from the Home Builders Federation (HBF), Richard Lankshear, a director of the Future Homes Hub, Carl Harris, the chairman of National Association of Home Builders, as well as Richard Smith, the head of standards, innovation & research at NHBC, among many others.
Paul Edwards, Senior Regional Director at NHBC says: “BEYOND ’25 LIVE will support our customers by building on their professional knowledge, helping them learn more about future changes in the house-building sector, as well as providing great opportunities for networking.”
