New Year’s Honour’s List

There have been lots of personnel moves pre and post new year. We have a list of those who have been honoured with a new job, including Val Featherstone who is Arcoframe’s new customer services advisor.

Arcoframe has purchased a new factory in its St Helens home where the PVC-U profile bender is increasing its manufacturing capacity to 11,000sq.ft. The company has reported that sales are up 20% on last year.

As part of its expansion plan, Arcoframe has appointed Val Featherstone has been appointed as customer service advisor. She bring with her 20-years experience in profile bending.

Arcoframe itself will be celebrating 20 years in bussniess in 2023. The firm offers arches in all major window systems from stock and also supplies a range of composite doors and vertical sliders with a choice of hardware from major manufacturers.

The company makes UK wide deliveries throughout the week using its own fleet.

 

New finance director at AluK

Michael Andrews is the newly appointed finance director at aluminium systems company AluK. With more than 15-years’ experience in a variety of finance roles within manufacturing environments, his commercial expertise will help the aluminium profile supplier deliver on its strategic growth plan.

 

New AT Precision

Aluminium bi-fold hardware supplier, AT Precision, has appointed a new marketing coordinator to help spearhead company growth and development. Newcastle University graduate Lucy Hewitt has joined the Durham-based company to help ensure that new product ranges, price lists and business updates are provided to customers on a regular basis.

 

New bi-fold team leader at CDW Systems

Aluminium fabricator CDW Systems has continued its success of promoting from within after appointing Aron Steele to Team leader on its bi-fold line. The 33-year-old has been with the company for more than five years on the shop floor and put himself forward for the position when it needed to be filled. Steele says: “Working on the factory floor for over five years has been the perfect learning curve and has given me the skills and confidence for my new role. CDW Systems has provided me with the opportunity to progress through the business and I’m looking forward to continuing to work hard.”

 

Kall Kwik appoint new technical director

Kall Kwik has strengthened its management team with the addition of new technical director, Josh Goodwin. The appointment will allow Kall Kwik’s previous technical director, Danny Jones, to take on the role of operations and commercial director, remaining actively involved in Kall Kwik’s day-to-day engineering work.

 

Promotion for Keylite’s John Logue

Keylite Roof Windows has promoted long-standing area sales manager (ASM) John Logue to business manager (flat roof systems) for the UK and Ireland. Logue has been with Keylite for six years. As part of his new remit, he has responsibility for all markets, providing support for window installers, architects, housebuilders, national contractors and roofing contractors.

 

A new view for Vista’s Longhurst

Composite door manufacturer Vista Panels has appointed a new business development manager. Covering the south of the UK, Michael Longhurst will be responsible for driving business growth, researching new market opportunities and overseeing growth projects.
