Despite the uncertainties of 2020, one PVC-U sash window manufacturer has invested over half a million pounds to expand its delivery fleet.

Victorian Sliders has acquired twelve new Mercedes Sprinter vans and two 38-tonne Mercedes lorries to transport its ECOSlide windows from its Ammanford HQ in Wales to depots all around the UK.

This is just the latest in a long line of purchases made by the firm. “We’ve spent in excess of £12 mmillion on state-of-the-art machinery in just the past five years, which has resulted in one of the most advanced and impressive manufacturing facilities UK fenestration has to offer," continues Victorian Sliders' Jones. “Like every company in the sector, we were seriously disrupted by coronavirus and the several months spent in lockdown, yet we have returned to extremely high demand.

“Now, our newly expanded fleet of delivery vehicles will allow us to bring our sash windows to thousands of installers around the country.”
