FIT Show – Late Night Wednesday
FIT Show Tuesday rocked. Now for Late Night Wednesday. 200 brands. Windows, bi-folds, lanterns, doors, software, machinery and glass – with the added incentive of being able to kick-back and relax after 4:00pm with live music and free drinks.
The Installer Magazine & TheInstaller.pro and The Fabricator Magazine & TheFabricator.pro were scheduled to been seen on Stand G14.
However, following a request from the organisers, we have donated our stand as a seating area and the team has relocated to the VIP Lounge…although the team is likely to be out on the floor meeting our customers.

Installer Hub
The new Installer Hub will run across all three days and provide visitors with an extra opportunity to see products brought to life via live installation demonstration, presented by exhibitors.
Whitesales will demonstrate the easy assembly of its new lantern, SkyVu alongside the em.glaze flat rooflight and new proprietary timber sloping upstand. Sessions will be on Tuesday and Wednesday at 11:30am and 3:00pm and Thursday at 11:00am and 2:00pm
Strongdor will have a live installation of its Firedor which will see technical experts try and beat the clock by installing the door within 30 minutes. Visitors can watch the demonstration at 12:45pm on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Made for Trade will demonstrate its lantern roof installation and bi-fold door frame to show its glass beading. Visitors can watch both demonstrations back to back on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:00pm and on the last day at 12:30pm.
The GGF will demonstrate its brand-new pulse testing system on Tuesday and Wednesday at 4:00pm. Visitors will also be able to see the pulse testing barrel up close on the GGF stand throughout the show.
Fenestration training providers, GQA and Building Our Skills will open each day of demonstrations on the Installer Hub with two thirty-minute sessions at 10:30am covering hints and tips about the surveying of windows and doors for installers, followed by advice on surveyor training.
International
The show will have exhibitors from all over the world with noticeably large contingents from China and Turkey. Poland’s Dako will bee looking for UK business partners – with a focus on fabricators who might look to act as distributors of the DA-SkyLine patio door with a concealed frame, for a minimalist look which can be accompanied by an automatic drive to facilitate wireless operation. The firm also offers timber frame panel door, sectional garage doors, interior roller blinds and exterior roller shutters alongside other window and door products designed to resist a typical Polish winter.
Jolanta Nowak, sales director of the Nordic and UK market says: “The ever-growing sales and interest in our product range on the UK market is a motivation for us to develop further in this region. Participation at FIT Show is not only an excellent opportunity to present the latest solutions in joinery which we also offer as a service along with our solid and good looking doors and windows but also to hold talks with potential business partners."
Dates for two years
FIT Show will now run every two years with the next outing planned for 29 April to 1 May 2025 back at Birmingham’s NEC. Exhibitors and visitors who would like to be exhibitors can see the 2025 floorplan on Stand U11.
