An Orderly Q For Fire Doors

In relatively quick order, trade fabricator Framexpress has earned two new BM Trada Q Mark accreditations which help to bolster the credentials of its Fire Doors By Framexpress range of third-party certified fire doors.

In addition to an existing BM Trada Q Mark for fire door manufacturing, the fabricator has also earned the BM Trada Q Mark for fire door installation and fire door maintenance – showcasing the company’s commitment to following the ‘Golden Thread’ of building product safety from design and testing to installation and maintenance.

 

Fire door schemes

The BM Trada Q Mark fire door installation scheme has been designed to provide reassurance to end users that the product they have chosen has been installed correctly. The addition of the BM Trada Q Mark for fire door maintenance ensures fire doors are being maintained correctly in accordance with the appropriate guidelines.

Jonny Green, the principal product manager at Framexpress, says: "We have been working hard behind the scenes to get our fire doors certified to meet the entire Golden Thread spectrum. These new accreditations help us offer a high-quality fire solution that gives installers, contractors, passive fire companies, architects, developers etc the confidence in the fire doors they have chosen.”
