A First For Shelforce

Shelforce has invested in a new software system from First Degree Systems to manage its window and door manufacturing operations.

The company specialises in providing PVC-U and aluminium products, including fire doors, to local authority building projects. The company has made the move because of rising demand.

Shelforce is manufacturing 200 Fireshel 30-minure fire doors a week.

 

 “Upgrading our software system to a cloud based one was crucial. As we have grown we have had more orders to process and deliveries to send out and we need that information available at the push of a button”

Under one umbrella

“The new system will improve our processing power, bring us greater procurement control and make things more efficient in terms of quoting, customer orders, ordering raw materials, production control and confirming work and converting it into orders,” says Shellforce’s Trotter. “It will also incorporate and help organise weekly product and delivery schedules and it will be great to have everything in one system and under one umbrella.”
