• 23 Per Cent Of Window Firms Are Failing

Plimsoll’s latest analysis shows how the largest 1,810 window and door companies are performing in 2023 and has reported that 23 per cent of those companies are in real danger, with 272 vulnerable to takeover or failure in 2024.

825 of these companies have seen sales fall in the last year – that’s nearly 50 per cent of all the window and door businesses analysed.

This information comes from London fabricator, Everglade Windows, which was recently rated as ‘strong’ by Plimsoll for a tenth year in a row.

 Jay Patel, a director at Everglade Windows, says: “The Plimsoll analysis is a great report and given the current state of our industry, where we’ve seen several major companies feel the effects of today’s economic climate, it’s even more impressive to be rated so highly showcasing that we and out customers are in a great position to continue to succeed through this period of financial uncertainty.
