Epwin Window Systems has published a 16-page brochure for the Stellar lift and slide door. The new brochure is aimed at both homeowners and installers. As well as the brochure there is a technical data sheet and a configuration chart.

Patio door resurgence

“The Stellar lift and slide door has arrived on the market at an opportune moment, which means the literature is ideal for helping installers capitalise on the domestic growth in aluminium sliding doors,” adds Epwin’s Allen. “Sliding doors are having a resurgence thanks to homeowner demand for large glazed areas. Our doors are available in two, three and four pane variations and are suitable for openings of up to 6.5m. Sash widths of up to 3m wide are possible with a choice of 96mm, 68mm and 50mm interlock widths to achieve the best combination of sightlines and size capability.”

Technology and threshold

Allen continues: “The doors are easy-to-use thanks to the use of lift and slide technology, which means there is a built-in system that takes some of the weight when opening the panes. The range of threshold options means the door can meet various access needs including a low threshold for an almost seamless transition. Others are designed to offer easy access for wheelchairs and for more exposed locations.”
