The founders of roofline, rainwater and cladding specialist, The Plastik Place, had used 'fantastic' Freefoam for over 20 years and are using Freefoam again with their new venture.

Phil Naylor and Kris Robinson only set up their trade counter in central Liverpool in June 2020. They both agree that Freefoam products are fantastic and 'the obvious choice' for their fledgling business.

Support

"Freefoam gives us everything we need - a full product range and the right support and service," continues the Plastik Place's Naylor. "As a new business, Freefoam has given us the support to build our brand, including marketing materials, POS and even advertising boards for the main road near our premises.”

 

Growth

Sales are strong at The Plastik Place with growing demand for home improvements thanks to a shift in consumer spending habits. According to Naylor: “Our customers are mostly builders, roofers and window installers and they’ve seen a huge spike in extensions and home renovations. During the last nine months  people haven’t been able to go on holiday so they’re spending money on updating their homes instead.

 

Decorative finishes

"There’s definitely a trend for improving rather than moving and colour is a big part of this. Grey is a top seller and Rosewood is very popular too. Freefoam is quick to react to emerging trends and have a colour range to help us capitalise on this growing market.”
