Read Full ArticlePlanning consent for Assemblies, an office-to-living repurposing project has been granted at 150 Minories by the City of London Corporation. It will see the re-use of the existing structure of the building.
Designed by Morris+Company, it will deliver 277 co-living homes, alongside extensive amenities and improved public realm on behalf of HUB Living.
The provision of shared amenity spaces on the ground floor, including new pedestrian links through the building, will improve the local area, with a pocket park, health hub, co-working space and café which will be accessible to both residents and the wider public.
HUB Living
The consent follows HUB’s first adaptive reuse consent, Cornerstone, at 45 Beech St, which is alongside the Barbican in London. Both projects will employ a material reuse strategy with contractors obliged to reduce waste and reduce carbon emissions by following circular economy principles in the stripout and using specialist construction materials with higher recycled content and longer life spans use in the conversion.
