On The Tiles - Time To Celebrate Boost In Interest

Steve Hacking, SupaLite’s Managing Director.

The record levels of interest in conservatories that first manifested itself at the end of June is a perfect fillip for installers of tiled roof systems says one supplier.

Purplex Marketing is constantly tracking Google search data and has reported the search term ‘Conservatory’ is at its highest level since 2004.

“After months of lockdown, not to mention the recent spell of fantastic weather, homeowners are gaining a new appreciation of their homes with a renewed desire to increase their living space and bring the outdoors in.”

Retro fit or new

The news is perfect for SupaLite’s Registered installers adds Hacking who says: "Our high-performance SupaLite tiled roof system and Sky Vista glass system will be in increased demand as a result. Homeowners will be looking at ways to replace their inefficient conservatory with a retro-fit product or investing in a brand-new conservatory, complete with a high-performance solid tiled roof.”

The SupaLite Tiled Roof System uses lightweight aluminium beams and rafters, 100mm high-density insulation and high-performance ExtraLight roof tiles to achieve a U-value rating of 0.18W/m²K, while Sky Vista has excellent U-value properties and effective solar control to allow plenty of natural light to flow through, as well as self-cleaning glass.

Both systems are easy to install and fully accredited for Building Regulations approval.

“With interest in conservatories rocketing, our range of replacement conservatory roof systems can provide ambitious installers with a valuable route to market and good profit margins,” adds  SupaLite's Hacking."

SupaLite has a dedicated training space and showroom site near its headquarters in Preston for its installer partners to utilise. For more information call SupaLite on 01772 828060 or visit.
