Midlands Merger Mixes Masterly Management

Two huge fabricators in the Midlands are set to merge and bring their PVC-U and aluminium lines under one brand - and benefit from a combined masterly management team.

West Bromwich based Central RPL is now one of the UK's largest fabricators of PVC products, fabricating windows, doors and conservatories from the Optima Range by Profile 22.

In 2016, RPL’s owners, the Boing Boing Group, expanded into the aluminium market by founding Central ASL, which provides aluminium windows, doors and flat rooflight systems.

Now, with both businesses thriving amid the post-lockdown home improvement boom, the time is right to create Central Window Systems.

“RPL and ASL are both outstanding fabrication businesses. Both offer a huge range of products, backed with first-class technical expertise.”

CEO, Boing Boing Group.

Experienced management

"We have one of the most experienced management teams in the window industry,” continues Boing Boing's Morton. “We believe that by combining the two companies, we can provide a better service to our many customers."

Morton adds: “Often, we speak to installers who buy PVC-U products from us but have no idea we have a sister company that specialises in aluminium and vice versa. By becoming Central Window Systems, installers will benefit from the full extent of the fantastic windows and doors we supply - and we’ll be able to offer more joined up service across the board.

No disruption

“We’d like to reassure our existing customers that there will be no disruption. You’ll continue dealing with the same experienced people - and any changes will be positive ones. The rebrand will come into effect from February.”
