Competition winner gets 30 year-old roof window
A homeowner in Omagh, Northern Ireland has transformed the comfort, energy efficiency and appearance of his home by replacing an ageing Velux roof window with a new Keylite roof window.
Located in the County Tyrone countryside, the property now benefits from improved thermal performance, reduced draughts and clear views thanks to the installation, completed by a Keylite verified installer.
Homeowner Cathal McAteer had experienced several issues with the existing roof window, including condensation, mould growth and noticeable draughts caused by air gaps around the frame. The timber frame had also become heavily weathered over the years and had even been painted black internally in an attempt to improve its appearance.
