When Days Become Weeks

The GGF has taken its traditional Members’ Day annual conference and turned it into completely online event. Described as 'Members’ Week', the event will be held on 29 & 30 September and 1 October via video conference.

The three days will include 12 guest speakers/expert panellists and 9 presentations/webinars and online forums covering: the economic overview, political landscape, health and safety, technical, marketing, training and the environment.

“The current situation around Covid-19 has forced us into this decision. Looking at the webinars, Members’ Week promises to combine presentations from expert speakers and new technology. This kind of event has never been hosted by a trade body in our industry before and I am looking forward to an exciting week in September.”

Managing Director, GGF

Expert speakers

The GGF has expert speakers lined up from the world of economics, politics, marketing, health and safety, technology and the environment. Members can pick and choose which webinars to join for the most useful information, tips and expert knowledge to benefit their business.

James Lee, GGF Director of External Affairs adds, “Members’ Week will be a new journey for the GGF with online webinars for practically everyone connected to the Federation. The technology we will be using will be video conferencing software that is now often used since the outbreak of coronavirus. It promises to be a great week and one that I hope all Members can take part in.”

Convenience

The added advantage of Members’ Week going virtual is that that all members will be able to access the webinar events and online forums from the comfort of their homes or offices, without having to spend time, money and go through the inconvenience of travelling.
