The Cat's Whiskers - Clayton Glass Launches UK’s Most Eco-Friendly IGU

Using a high level of recycled and organic materials, new EcoMAX is claimed to be the country’s most environmentally friendly glass unit.

Clayton Glass, in partnership with Yorkshire Windows, has launched the brand-new window IGU.

Studies have found that 82% of home buyers would pay more for eco features and there is increased government pressure for greener housing, meaning the EcoMAX couldn't have come at a more appropriate time - especially as it is a UK produced product and thus has relatively low carbon miles associated with it.

A and A+ rated windows

The new product’s environmentally friendly features do not compromise on quality, with EcoMAX matching the performance of A and A+ rated windows. EcoMAX boasts a U-Value of 1.2, 71% Solar Gain and 82% Light Transmission – all intended to maximising the sun’s natural heat and light hitting a property.

Clayton Glass will plant a tree in honour of each EcoMAX installation to complete with exclusive launch partner, Yorkshire Windows.

“We’ve been listening to and evaluating the market over the years and there’s been a clear increase in demand for an IGU which sits in line with sustainably conscious values but one which still delivers high-value performance.”
