Screen Test

A room divider

Tradelink is seeing a boom in demand for its glazed aluminium room divider screens from both home owners looking to create an office space and office occupiers looking to make better use of their space.

The screens are ideally suited to replicating the classic look of steel screens at a fraction of the cost. Tradelink Window Solutions says the increase in sales has coincided with flexible working becoming the norm.

The extruded aluminium, polyester powder-coated screens are manufactured to order at Tradelink's dedicated production facility in March, Cambridgeshire.  They work very well when creating a home office or otherwise helping re-designate space within a property, while also being suitable for cutting heat loss between garden rooms and the rest of the interior.

“The shift to working from home offered us one of the real opportunities to actually expand our business during the pandemic. People started and are continuing, to create office spaces or install privacy screens to make more efficient use of their existing properties.”

The frames are often single glazed, normally with toughened glass or can be double glazed where greater acoustic properties might be needed and can be fabricated in a variety of configurations including with single or double doors.

"They have been part of our range for many years and have proved themselves to give very robust performance while replicating the appearance of traditional steel screens,” continues Tradelink’s Judge.  These screens a very economical alternative to steel frames; they are available in less than four weeks from order; and they come in all manner of colours "
