DUCO receives the VCDO certificate
DUCO has been awarded the VCDO (Voka Charter Duurzaam Ondernemen) certificate, in recognition of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility in 2026. A spokesman says: “This achievement reaffirms our dedication to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
Participating in this charter commits Duco to taking at least 10 concrete actions towards sustainability every year. The approach, built around the five Ps — people, planet, profit, peace and partnerships – the company says these guide it towards a more sustainable future.
A selection of the initiatives
To make internal collaboration and follow-up more efficient, a structured Jira Flow has been set up. This system gives teams a clear framework for reporting, tracking, and resolving issues – from production to after-sales. The result: greater transparency, faster turnaround times, and fewer miscommunications.
Safety instruction videos for new employees and visitors
DUCO has developed a series of professional safety instruction videos aimed at new employees and visitors to its production site. In an accessible and visually clear format, the key safety rules and codes of conduct are explained for everyone, regardless of background or language.
120 charging points for an electric vehicle fleet
DUCO is investing strongly in the electrification of its vehicle fleet. All sites, including Duco Projects, have been equipped to accommodate this resulting in no fewer than 120 installed charging points. This makes the switch to electric driving as accessible as possible and reduces Duco's CO₂ footprint on the road.
In-house purchasing quality guidelines for suppliers
DUCO has developed its own purchasing quality guidelines for buyers and suppliers, setting out clear expectations in terms of quality, reliability, and sustainability. Because a responsible supply chain starts with clear agreements.
